Evening and weekend appointments

Hartlepool and Stockton collectively offer routine appointments that are bookable at designated locations on evenings and weekends, please ask at reception for details.

Why can't I get an appointment when I want one?

In February 2020 175 appointments were wasted with Doctors, Nurse Practitioner and Practice Nurse by patients not turning up and failing to cancel them.

This equates to 29 hours of wasted Doctors, Nurse Practitioner and Practice Nurse time.

If you don't need your appointment please cancel as soon as possible to allow other patients to be seen.  Please note if you miss 3 or more appointments in the space of 12 months you will be removed from the practice list.

Accountable GP

All patients in the Practice are allocated a named accountable GP. New patients will be advised who their named accountable GP is when they first register at the Practice If you are unaware of who your named GP is please contact the reception team.

You may if you wish change your named GP to a GP of your choice, this is done by asking at reception. Remember changing your named GP will make no difference to the care you receive.

Smart Recovery Meetings

Are you a carer?

Do you look after someone who is ill, frail, disabled or mentally ill?  We are interested in identifying carers, especially those people who may be caring without help or support.  Caring for someone is an important and valuable role in the community, which is often a 24 hour job that can be demanding and isolating.  If you are a carer please let the reception staff know and this can be noted in your medical records.
